Rebuttal to Faith Freedom: Muhammad is not predicted in Hindu scriptures

1. The first premise is based on the Qur’anic belief that There Never Was A People Without A Warner:
Qur'an 35:24, Qur'an 16:36, Qur'an 4:164, Qur'an 3:81-82 all declare that Allah had sent messengers or apostles before to various nations of the earth telling them to worship Allah and accept the apostles as His messenger. To the Muslims these verses mean that every religion had its prophet of whom Muhammad is the last and final. From this they deduce that scriptures of other religions must contain mention of Muhammad. To a Muslim there is no proof needed but the Koran; but for unbelievers the Koran by itself is no proof. Satisfactory proof is yet to be given that Allah exists or that the Koran is God's Revelation. Nor does it automatically follow that Mohammed's arrival would be predicted anywhere. FFI contains many articles that actually questions and sometimes disproves the credibility of both.
My Response:
From this they deduce that scriptures of other religions must contain mention of Muhammad.
Incorrect, no Muslim deduces that the Prophet must be mentioned in their books. The truth is that this research or discovery was made by Hindu Pandits.
A Hindu scholar Prof. Pundit Vaid Parkash writes,
***** The Last Kalki Autar (Messenger) that the Veda has foretold and who is waited on by Hindus is the Prophet Muhammed ibn Abdullah (saw) *****
A recently published book in Hindi has raised a lot of hue and cry all over India. In the event of the author being Muslim, he would have been jailed AND a strict ban would have certainly been imposed on the printing and the publishing of the book.
The author of this important research work "Kalki Autar" i.e. "Guide and Prophet of whole universe" comes of a Bengali race and holds an important portfolio at Ilahabad University. Pundit Vaid Parkash is a Brahman Hindu and a well known Sanskrit scholar and research workder.
Pundit Vaid Parkash, after a great deal of toil and hard-work, presented the work to as many as eight great Pundits who are themselves very well known in the field of research in India, and are amongst the learned religious leaders. Their Pundits, after thorough study of the book, have acknowledged this to be true and authentic research work.
Important religious books of India mention the guide and prophet by the specific name of "Kalki Autar" it denotes the great man Muhammed (saw) who was born in Makkah. Hence, all Hindus where-ever they may be, should wait no longer for any other 'kalik autar' but to embrace Islam and follow in the footsteps of the last Messenger of Allah (swt) who was sent in the world about fourteen hundred years ago with a mission from Him and after accomplishing it has long ago departed this world. As an argument to prove the authenticity of his research, Pundit Vaid Parkash quotes from the Veda, a sacred book among Hindus:
1. Veda mentions that 'kalki autar' will be the last Messenger/Prophet of Bhagwan (Allah) to guide the whole world. Afer quoting this reference the Pundit Parkash says that this comes true only in the case of Muhammed (saw).
2. According to a prophecy of Hinduism, 'kalki autar' will be born in an island and that is the Arab territory which is known as 'jazeeratul Arab'.
3. In the 'sacred' book of Hindus the father's name of 'kalki autar' is mentioned as 'Vishnu Bhagat' and his mother's name as 'somanib'. In sanskrit, 'vishnu' stands for Allah (swt) and the literal meaning of 'bhagat' is slave.
'Vishnu Bhagat' therefore, in the Arabic language will mean Allah's slave (Abdullah). 'Somanib' in Sanskrit means peace and tranquilty which in arabic is denoted by the word 'Amina'. Whereas the last Messenger Muhammed's (saw) father and mother's names were Abdullah and Amina respectively.
4. In the big books of Hindus, it is mentioned that 'kalki autar' will live on olive and dates and he will be true to his words and honest. In this regard Pundit Parkash writes, "This is true and established only in the case of Muhammed (saw)".
5. Veda mentions that 'kalki autar' will be born in the respected and noble dynasty of his land. And this is also true as regards Muhammed (saw) as he was born in the respected tribe of Quraish who enjoyed great respect and high place in Makkah.
6. 'Kalki Autar' will be taught in the cave by Bhagwan through his own messenger. And it is very true in this matter. Muhammed (saw) was the only one person in Makkah who has taught by Allah's Messenger Gabriel in the cave of Hira.
7. It is written in the books which Hindus believe that Bhagwan will provide 'Kalki autar' with the fastest of a horse and with the help of which he will ride around the world and the seven skies/heavens. The riding on 'Buraq' and 'Meraj' by the Prophet Muhammed (saw) proves that
8. It is also written in the Hindus' books that 'kalki autar' will be strengthened and heavily helped by Bhagwan. And we know this fact that Muhammed (saw) was aided and reinforced by Allah (swt) through His angels in the battle of Badr.
9. Hindus' books also mention that 'kalki autar' will be an expert in horse riding, arrow shooting, and swordsmanship. What Pundit Vaid Parkash comments in this regard is very important and worth attention and consideration. He writes that the age of horses, swords, and spears is long ago gone and now is the age of modern weapons like tanks, missiles, and guns, and therefore it will be unwise to wait for 'kalki autar' bearing sword and arrows or spears. In reality, the mention in our books of 'kalki autar' is clearly indicative of Muhammed (saw) who was given the heavenly book known as Al-Qur'an.
The Jewish Bible also mentions the name of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) twice, once in Songs of Solomon and once in Haggai 2:7 where it says that Muhammad of all nations will come. Every other Prophet was sent only for their own nation and therefore, the Bible also supports the Islamic claim confirmed by Hindu books and scholars.

My Response:
This argument or this entire point needs not be answered as the accuser is relying on silly tricks of false interpretations. The interpretations may be wrong or right but the translations used are by Pandit Raja Ram and they are reliable, unbiased and accepted by all Hindus.

Malecha: Pandit Raja Ram has used foreigner for it’s meaning whereas the accuser uses uncleaned one. The accuser uses many assumptions and believes that the Muslims are also assuming the same. The reality is that the research was done by high ranked Pandits of India and the research was endorsed by eight other prominent Pandits. Who is who, what is what is not relevant to the topic but who is the Arabian man being discussed is the most important.

3. The third argument draws heavily from what is known as Bhavishya Purana or Book of Prophecies. Prati Sarg Parv III: 3, 3, verses 5-27 give detailed descriptions of Mohammed's doings, the establishment of the new religion and even gets the Prophet's name right. So we immediately come to the question of how authentic this book is. According to most scholars, this book is a work of compilation that went on through centuries, with the writers pretending to pass off historical knowledge as prophecies of the future. The writer argues, "A case has been made that the present Puranas are not the same collection that Vedas refer to and the real books were lost". I would be very astonished if any Hindu had actually made such a claim, because it is common knowledge that Puranas were written after the Vedas and the Vedas never mention any Purnanas. However this allows Mr. Haq and Dr.Naik to set up an useful non-existent strawman for them to demolish. He also argues that materials could not have been added in later dates because Puranas were read in public and so could not have been altered. However, only the more popular stories from the 18 Puranas were read in assemblies and Bhavishya Purana is a text that was seldom read out in public. Even if we accept the book as authentic, two questions arise. One is, why does the book contain prophecies only till Victoria 's reign? Why did God suddenly decide to suspend his revelations at that particular moment? Surely it would have been more proper to continue it (even through Muslim holy men) or to end all such prophecies with the emergence of Islam and the 'perfect' Book of Qur’an which was to replace all others. Secondly, the Purana is filled with stories of the doings of various gods and concludes that the only god who is worthy of worship is the Surya, the sun-god. If the book is authentic then all such stories are also true and therefore it is the sun we must worship. However, most Muslims have not read the whole book; those who have, argue that all such portions are corruptions. But Hindus can too use such pick-and-choose methods by declaring that it is the portions relating to Islam which are degenerations. The Bhavishya Purana is precisely described as :
“ Bhavishya Purana. This is what is told to Manu by Surya (Sun). This contains statements about future events. The book praises the worship of Surya (Sun), Agni (fire) and Naga (serpent). There is an annexure dealing with the several holy places of Bharata and the rights of pilgrims. The book contains fourteen thousand verses and it is considered to be uttama (best) to give this book along with treacle as a gift to a brahmin on the full-moon day in the month of Pausha “
Bhavishya purana also is allegedly claiming that JESUS has come to INDIA . You can find such an argument
here. If muslims believe Bhavishya Purana predicts Muhammad, then why don’t they believe Jesus came to INDIA and learnt tricks from Siddhas? Bhavishya Purana also praises worship of Surya, Agni and Naga. Muslims will pray any of these? When they never will approbate any of these, how come they only believe that some unrelated verses point to Muhammad? Can you see the desperation among these two men?

Very true! I am glad that the accuser has accepted this fact. If the book is so hard to translate, then the most reliable translation should be used and the most knowledgeable Hindus are the Pandits and among them, all Hindus respect Pandit Raja Ram. Any Hindu anytime without any doubt should accept any work by him.

Dr.Zakir Naik and Dr.Haq declare that Atharva Veda, Kanda (chapter) 20, Mantras 126-137 prefigures about Muhammad. This portion is known as Kuntap sukta. He says that the word Kuntap means to consume sin and misery, and it is composed from Kuh (sin and misery) and tap (to consume). This is not wholly correct. The Gopatha Brahman defines the term as "that which burns away whatever is evil or ugly". However the meaning is close enough. But he goes onto say that the word Kuntap also means "the ‘hidden glands in the abdomen,’ inferring the true meaning to be revealed only to those who are able to develop sufficient insight". It is a pity that he does not give his source for this meaning. But apparently he has developed sufficient insight to read its hidden meaning: that this meaning proves it is actually a reference to Mecca which is called navel of the earth by Muslims. Then Dr.Naik and Dr. Haq "shows that the word "Kuntap is derived from Bakkah (Makkah). In the analysis of Sanskrit and Arabic words having the same meaning … , the word ‘b’ in Arabic is used as ‘p’ in Sanskrit (in our times, one example is that of soft drink Pepsi; it is written and pronounced as Bebsi in the Arab world). A certain ‘t’ in Arabic becomes silent and pronounced as h depending on its position in that word … For example, ‘tun’ in Medinatun is replaced by h when pronounced (both t and n are dropped). Further, many Sanskrit words having parallel in Arabic are written backwards … Thus one can see the similarity between the word Kuntap and Bakkah (each containing letters k, n, t, p)".

Kuntap: Taking away evil and sin; hidden glands in the abdomen
1. Thus Kuntap stands for Makkah or Bakkah.
Several people have translated these Kuntap Suktas like M. Bloomfield, Prof. Ralph Griffith, Pandit Rajaram, Pandit Khem Karan, etc.

My Response:
The Hindu claim, whether valid or invalid, is irrelevant to the discussion. The accuser simply attempts to change the attention from the main issue to these useless non-issues. Rather than relying on the verses to disprove the claim that they speak of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the accuser is attempting to discuss the meanings by deceiving the readers.
The translations have been done by,
M. Bloomfield, Prof. Ralph Griffith, Pandit Rajaram, Pandit Khem Karan, etc.
Two of them are Pandits. I would love to know who and what is Mr. Prasadh? Who is he?
Is he a Pandit?

The writers say that the third Mantra of the Kuntap Sukt translated by someone called Pandit Raja Ram is:
"He gave the Mamah Rishi a hundred gold coins, ten chaplets, three hundred steeds and ten thousand cows."
They go onto explain " The root of the word Mamah is Mah which means to esteem highly, honor, revere, to magnify and to exalt. The word "Mohammad" means "the praised one" in Arabic. Therefore, Mamah is synonymous with Mohammad when the full meaning of the verse is considered. The 'd' dropped as in the case of Mamah (Mohammad, which is derived from root letters h, m, and d)". It is a very ingenious explanation. Alas! the only problem is that Mamah is not a single word nor a name. It is a combination of two words 'mamo' and 'ahe', meaning "to me".

S. Prasadh does not agree with the Muslim interpretation of the given verse and just disagrees with them without any proof. He denies the meanings very closed-mindedly.
What Mr. Prasadh should do is that if this refers to someone else, then he should explain who?
Such an incident never happened to anyone than the last Prophet of God. The verses clearly say that the last Prophet will be a camel riding Rishi and as we all know, camel-riding is prohibited to Brahmins. There is no hidden meaning to it, simple reading knowledge.

A very childish trick played by S. Prasadh. Ask any Hindu as to who he would consider more reliable among the translators. The unanimous answer would be that they would prefer Hindu translators. S. Prasadh also attempts to reject that he knows who Pandit Raja Ram is. If he really does not know, then it’s a pity that he has written a rebuttal without much knowledge.

The Rusama is mentioned in RigVeda as a protégé of Indra, and is elsewhere referred to as a community which has nothing to do with Mecca . Kaurama is the alternative name for Kaurava, a generous donor in the community.

So true, they are the community that lived in Makkah.

The accepted wording Whose twice ten buffaloes move right along, together with their cows; the height of his chariot just misses the heaven which recedes from its touch. You can find an accurate and famous translation of
Vedas here . I have never heard of camels being used by INDIANS in Vedic Times, nor can you make notice of camels in any of Hindu Scriptures.

S. Prasadh again uses the less reliable translations of the Christians. Is an ordinary Christian more knowledgeable or the knowledgeable Hindu Pandits?
Earlier, S. Prasadh himself said that the Hindu books are most difficult to translate and commentary and explanation books are needed for the true meanings. Pandit Raja Ram has definitely read those commentary books which the Christian translators have not.
Therefore, the most reliable translation is,
Twenty camels draw his carriage, with him being also his wives. The top of that carriage or chariot bows down escaping from touching the heaven.
Brahmins are prohibited to ride a camel. This proves that the man is not an Indian.
S. Prasadh writes:

As noted earlier it is not the Mamah rishi, but simply rishi.

Who are you S. Prasadh to reject a Pandit? The Pandit has the knowledge and he has used the word Mamah in the translation. Your policy of pure rejection is very childish!

Again, the standard translation is "Glut thee o singer, glut thee, like a bird on a ripefruited tree".However, the term 'narasansha' which is translated as singer, can also mean someone who praises. Someone who praises is not praiseworthy. Narasansha doesn’t equate to Muhammad. Apparently this version is relied on, so that it can be equated with Ahmad.

All of my below translations are by Pandit Raja Ram but unfortunately, S. Prasadh uses the unreliable ones by Christians.

Again, here the standard translation is "O singer bring thou forth the hymns..." . They say this verse in wisdom of Qur’an. Now if that is the case, Vedas were written several years before the OT,NT and Qur’an. Then why don’t muslims read Vedas instead? Look how the translation has been played with and changed to their convenience.

The standard translation is, "Sing the praise of Pariksit, the sovereign whom all people love, the king who ruleth over all, excelling mortals as a god". The name Parikshit is definitely mentioned. Parikshit is the name of a king of the Kaurava line, though it cannot be ascertained whether this is the same king mentioned in Mahabharata. However, this name is left out. Apparently even the writer's imagination has a hard time trying to prove that Parikshit is another name for Muhammad.

Standard translation: "Mounting his throne Parikshit best of all hath given us peace and rest, saith a Kaurava to his wife as he is ordering his house". A Kaurava is a member of the Kuru clan, descended from Kuru, whatever may be its meaning in Hebrew. Also why are the specific terms husband (pati) and wife (jaya) left out? I am sure the writer could have found some hidden significance in them as well, if only he had worked hard.

He who affords shelter to everybody, gave peace to the world, as soon as he mounted the throne. Men in Kuru-land are talking of his peace-making at the time of the building of the house.

During the first few years of Islam, wine was not prohibited. It was gradually prohibited as the people were deep into drinking. Islam brought a very systematic and a rehabilitative way of prohibiting alcohol and which it did very successfully.

Did he only speak of sex outside marriage? The accuser should not comment if he does not have knowledge. The pagan Arabs had numerous wives, they used to bury alive their daughters, inherit their father’s wives after his death etc.

The Hindu books are massively corrupt as the writer should know. The part that matches with the Quran is the truth and that which does not match can be true and can be false but that which goes against the Quran is absolutely corrupt and false.
On one hand, the Hindu books say that God is One and on the other hand, they also say that there are many gods. This is a man-made corruption that happened thousands of years ago and what is confirmed by Islam is the truth.

The so-called schollars(for dollars??) is not quiet upto the latest researches done by his other Muslim colleagues. They are assiduously writing that Indra as the god of war and leader of Aryans, is the cruel enslaver of the indigenous inhabitants of India and is the first terrorist in the world. They very much contradict each other in their own terms!
As can be seen the writer very carefully leaves out certain words and gives others another meaning than commonly associated with them. However, even that is not enough to turn the verses into predictions about Muhammad. Read in the ordinary manner the verses simply show a picture of a kingdom thriving under a benevolent king; these are simply hymns of praise. He therefore has to take the help of symbolism. The source of his symbolism cannot be found in the Vedas themselves --- he simply imposes them arbitrarily in order to suit his theory. Only the eye of faith can produce such an interpretation of the hymn.

God is One but Indra is god, Ram is god, etc. 330,000,000 gods or One God?
There are obviously massive corruptions in the Hindu books but that which matches with Islam is the truth.
The accuser has tried to reject the validity of Pandits and Hindus must consider this as a sort of blasphemy. Pandit Raja ram definitely has more knowledge than two Christians who have learned a little Sanskrit.
S. Prasadh accuses that selective meanings have been used and lots of symbolism has been used. If this is so, can he explain who the man being discussed is if not Prophet Muhammad?

S. Prasadh once again tries to use his own incorrect understanding. Who is he anyway?
Pandit Raja Ram translates this verse as follows:
"Ahmed acquired from his Lord the knowledge of eternal law. I received light from him just as from the sun."The Prophecy confirms:The name of the Prophet as Ahmed since Ahmed is an Arabic name. Many translators misunderstood it to be Ahm at hi and translated the mantra as "I alone have acquired the real wisdom of my father".Prophet was given eternal law, i.e. the Shariah.

Dr.Zakir Naik and Dr.Haq actually commit these logical fallacies : Post hoc ergo propter hoc, Red herring, Petitio principii, Non Sequitur ,Straw man and Tu quoque. Simply no hindus will convert because of such bad marketing skills!! Truth is powerful than any other attractive marketing techniques.

This does not prove what you think. What the scholars are doing is that they are bringing the Hindus to the truth called Islam. If Hindus do not believe in these books, they should denounce their religion completely and search for a perfect religion. If they do that with an open-mind, they will enter Islam. The scholars and Muslims do not believe in these books but the part that matches with Islam is the truth. The scholars just attempt to bring the people to Islam. If another technique is used such as telling them the good things of Islam, they might just reject closed-mindedly without listening and might say that all religions teach good things whereas the truth is that all religions do not teach good things, only Islam does.
