ISLAM = PEACE
ISLAM is about submitting ur will to ALLAH with peace,The arabic word ISLAM is derived from the root word salam which means PEACE.

Dear Shoeb, Either you are ignorant about your own islam or you are using taqiyya.The word ISLAM means SUBMISSION and not PEACE.The root word of ISLAM is derived from the infinitive "SALAMA". Similarly the word SALAM which means PEACE is derived from the same infinitive word SALAMA.So it is clear that the word ISLAM is not derived from the word SALAM but both of them are derived from SALAMA.Many other words are derived from SALAMA like SALIMA means "to be saved" and other word which means "stinging of a snake" and the next one "tanning of the leather" etc.So if ISLAM means PEACE because both are from the same root word SALAMA then ISLAM also means tanning of leather and stinging of snake.WHat do you say Shoeb? Don't fall for such misleading informations and learn the truth by yourself. ISLAM means SUBMISSION and not PEACE. Hope it is clear to you now. SALAM.
